Our client, a leading private equity firm based in Menlo Park, focuses on high-growth technology and related sectors. As an SEC-registered investment adviser managing billions in assets, they provide the capital and expertise necessary to elevate companies to the global stage.

In this role, you will report to the CFO and Director, ensuring excellence in daily accounting and reporting operations. This hybrid position offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee capital calls and distributions for private equity funds.
• Manage accounting and operations systems.
• Collaborate with deal teams and external advisors on fund administration.
• Lead the financial close process for investment vehicles.
• Assist with credit line management, technical accounting, and addressing investor inquiries.
• Support external fund audits, tax compliance, and other related tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA designation is a plus.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with a specialization in private equity or venture capital.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in database management, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
• Familiarity with fund accounting software such as QuickBooks, FloQast, or Allvue is preferred.
