Full Charge Bookkeeper

Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity in the Agriculture industry for a Full Charge Bookkeeper located in VISALIA, California. This role involves a variety of tasks including bookkeeping, office management, and administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record, classify, and compute financial data to maintain precise financial records.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and taking comprehensive notes.
• Manage office operations and procedures such as maintaining office supplies, equipment, and filing systems.
• Handle human resources paperwork and ensure compliance.
• Answer customer calls, providing exceptional service, and utilizing problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address inquiries.
• Process, monitor, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely execution.
• Administer HR-related tasks and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements.
• Proficiently use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement.
• Ability to perform all accounting functions is necessary.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory.
• Must have previous experience in handling payroll.
• Familiarity with the process of Month End Close is essential.
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is preferred.
• The ability to prepare financial statements is a prerequisite.
