Prominent health system is seeking to add a certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to its NICU under the direct supervision of the Neonatologists.
NNPs work 3-14 hour shifts (longer as needed), per week and do not take call. Day Shift averages 6-8 patients per day while night shift covers the ICU and intermediate nursery. They cover high risk deliveries and do transport from outlying hospitals.The unit does not care for surgical babies. The NNPs will primarily be used for nights, but may do days depending upon staffing needs.
