Responsibilities:

Training Delivery
  • Develop strategies for parsing and electronically cataloging training materials based on deficiencies to which the training materials align.
  • Develop and implement a training and dissemination strategy tailored to the needs of program stakeholders.
  • Develop a support tool for stakeholders to use when recommending remedial training to staff in areas cited for deficiencies.
Learning Management Systems Administration Support:
  • Provide learning management systems (LMS) support to the client and additional stakeholders.
  • Program training plans, pre-tests, post-tests, evaluations, and other training updates in the LMS.
  • Upload training materials (e.g., eLearning files, mp4 videos, PDF job aids, etc.).
  • Provide support to learners/LMS users to mitigate technical difficulties (e.g., lost passwords).
  • Triage and respond to emails sent to functional mailboxes.
  • Send email messages and calendar invitations to promote upcoming training events.
  • Facilitate live virtual training (e.g., webinars) in preferred online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Zoom Events, Microsoft Teams).
Program Evaluation:
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback.
  • Clean and analyze learner data, including but not limited to course completion rates, average knowledge gain, and learners’ qualitative responses to evaluation surveys.
  • Monitor learner data trends and provide recommendations for continual improvement.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure that all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-6 years) as a Training Specialist, Trainer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of various training methods (eLearning, workshops, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple training projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and creativity in designing engaging learning experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
  • Experience with performance consulting and change management.
  • Experience supporting federal or state government agencies, particularly public-health-focused agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Pay Range: USD $92,000.00 - USD $98,000.00 /Yr.
