About Our Client

My client is a global company with a US headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. The firm specializes in Real Estate and is operating on a 4 days onsite, 1 from home hybrid schedule.

Job Description
  • Manage semi-monthly payroll, along with related reporting and funding requests.
  • Assist employees with inquiries regarding PEO benefits, including health insurance and 401(k) plans.
  • Manage and report on workers' compensation and FMLA leaves not handled by the PEO.
  • Ensure 401(k) contributions are uploaded to the record keeper, enroll new hires, and remove terminated employees, along with necessary reporting.
  • Support the annual benefits open enrollment process, including communications and reminders.
  • Reconcile, code, obtain approvals, and submit all HR invoices (e.g., payroll, attorney fees, search firm fees, activities, etc.).
  • Compile reports and update HR information as needed to provide required data and metrics.
  • Advise and communicate with U.S. employees regarding company HR policies, benefits, welfare programs, and processes.
  • Inform employees about leave policies and necessary insurance premium payments.
  • Provide onboarding support through the HRIS, delivering new hire orientation training on benefits, payroll, PEO introduction, HRIS usage, timesheets, etc.
  • Manage and implement monthly non-financial KPI wellness program activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee employee health and safety initiatives.
  • Develop necessary processes and procedures for all aspects of the role.

The Successful Applicant
  • 5+ years experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Understanding of HR disciplines and best practices
  • Exposure to federal and state labor laws, especially FMLA
  • Advanced experience in Excel
  • Basic knowledge of accounting skills a plus
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days a week

What's on Offer

The base salary range is $90k-115k and the firm offers competitive bonuses as well as a robust benefits package. This role reports directly to the HR Director and is 4 days onsite, 1 from home.
