Staff Tax Accountant - Dallas

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry for a Staff Tax Accountant based in Dallas, Texas. The role primarily involves processing tax-related transactions, maintaining tax records, and ensuring corporate tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and verifying tax-related transactions using tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintaining accurate tax records and monitoring accounts for any discrepancies.
• Ensuring corporate tax compliance and conducting compliance audits when necessary.
• Creating ad hoc reports to provide insights into tax-related activities.
• Assisting with the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns.
• Responding to and resolving client inquiries related to their tax accounts.
• Continually updating knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of tax strategies.
• Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx is essential for accurate and efficient tax processing.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks is necessary for managing and tracking financial transactions.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is desirable for effective financial planning and analysis.
• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting to meet specific business requirements.
• Understanding and experience in Compliance to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
• Experience in Compliance Audit to identify and mitigate tax risks.
