2025 Risk Management Summer Internship Program
The Risk Management Summer Intern will assist the Risk Management team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks associated with UWM's operations. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk analysis, compliance, and operational assessments within the mortgage industry.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and evaluations for various business operations and processes.
- Support the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices related to risk management.
- Help analyze data and prepare reports on risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on risk management initiatives.
- Assist in the monitoring of compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by members of the Risk Management team.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2025 or 2026 (current junior/senior status)
- The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from the end of May to mid-August
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- A strong work ethic
- A drive to succeed
