Senior Director, FSP Biometrics

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Overseeing the planning and management of activities and resources related to FSP services to meet the Client’s needs/timelines/deliverables
- Resourcing Client projects with qualified staff, and working to retain and develop staff
- Promoting new business by participating in project bids and Client presentations as appropriate
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Director, FSP Biometrics is responsible for the execution and oversight of Program Management activities related to one or more programs. Duties include:
- Serving as the central point of contact (POC) for and between Senior Management and key Client personnel for contracted FSP Biometrics activities, including:
- Planning and managing logistics, infrastructure, and resources related to FSP services to meet Client needs/timelines/ deliverables
- Collaborating with Clients to implement and operationalize short- and long-term strategies
- Developing and managing communication and escalation plans/processes, as applicable
- Overseeing Client Governance, as required, preparing/presenting at Governance meetings
- Overseeing performance management of staff who support contracted FSP activities and collaborating with FSP Biometrics Management to ensure staff are technically proficient and able to satisfy Client expectations and deliverables
- Managing compliance with Client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), utilizing applicable tools and systems to collect, track, and analyze performance related data
- Leading Client-specific FSP meetings with internal program team, ensuring that contractual requirements related to FSP Biometrics activities are met and monitored on an ongoing basis
- Overseeing and/or managing issue escalation and resolution, including Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) development when necessary
- Managing and overseeing FSP Biometrics functional and associated management staff dependent upon Client structure and services
- Coordinating and managing the resourcing process including hiring and onboarding/offboarding of staff which may include the development of interview tools, as well as conducting interviews with potential candidates
- Leading, managing, and developing direct reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness at prioritizing work and to ensure performance meets or exceeds business and personal goals/objectives, as well as departmental and project and/or program productivity and quality metrics
- Facilitating, communicating, and addressing operational and/or performance issues including problem identification and resolution, coaching/mentoring of
- Hiring, retaining, and developing a skilled, experienced, and motivated team that minimizes turnover
- Providing technical support for team members and managers to ensure they have the required knowledge to fulfill duties
- Supporting and promoting staff professional development; assessing and providing opportunities for soft skills development
- Conducting one-on-one meetings with direct reports, based on program needs
- Conducting formal performance reviews
- Working with Senior Management in developing managers and ensuring a
- Overseeing onboarding and offboarding of staff, as applicable
- Reviewing and approving content of curriculum vitaes (CVs), and conducting job description reviews for staff
- Overseeing training compliance of staff related to SOPs, systems, and processes
- Collaborating with interdepartmental functions to create business proposals including Requests for Information/Requests for Proposal (RFIs/RFPs) to meet each Client's specifications; serving as the primary contact for FSP strategy for standalone and cross-functional proposals
- Participating in the preparation and delivery of bid defenses for new and existing Clients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and moderate conflicts, and communicate problems/issues along with action plans or alternatives for resolution
- Demonstrated leadership across the organization (e.g., Client accounts/corporate initiatives), strong ability to effectively motivate/influences teams
- Well-developed planning, observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills with respect to functional responsibilities including innovation, originality, and creativity
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible
- Strong computer skills with MS-Office products such as, but not limited to, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in written and spoken English required
- Proficient in local language (as applicable), preferred
- Minimum 15+ years of Biometrics experience; and a minimum 6 years of line management experience; 2+ years of FSP Biometrics experience
- In-depth knowledge of overall drug development
- Prior experience supporting RFP preparation and bid defenses preferred
- Previous experience working in a remote office environment and independently managing remote staff, with ability to effectively oversee/lead a team and promote collaboration in a matrix organization
- Experience working in customer service/FSP outsourcing model with experience managing and forecasting resource allocation
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or other required experience confirmed to be equivalent during the interview process
