ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
- Manage and supervise the Quality department and Quality programs. This also includes performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.
- Work to improve quality of outgoing products.
- Work to improve communication of customer requirements, resolve customer concerns, and promote quality throughout organization.
- Work closely to improve/maintain quality of raw materials/ products.
- Relationships with vendors and contractors required to maintain quality products and resolve quality issues.
- Relationship with registrar & auditors required to obtain and maintain certifications.
- ISO management representative.
- Maintain a quality program conforming to ISO 9001:2015.
- Oversee corrective action process.
- Train & promote quality throughout the organization.
- Lead quality improvement projects.
- Oversee internal auditing.
