Our client is a New York City branch of a major financial institution, offering a range of banking and financial services, catering primarily to corporate clients and international businesses. It serves as a key hub for facilitating trade, investment, and financial transactions between globally, providing services such as corporate loans, foreign exchange, and investment banking.

They are actively looking to hire one Risk Assessment Consultant for a 6 month contract.

Job Description

The Risk Assessment Consultant will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the development and execution of compliance risk assessments.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining assessments for BSA/AML and fraud.
  • Identify and analyze compliance risk factors and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on relevant regulations.

The Successful Applicant

The Risk Assessment Consultant should have the following background:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years in BSA/AML, Sanctions, Corporate Compliance, Fraud, or Anti-Bribery roles.
  • 2+ years in Risk Assessment support (preferred).
  • Relevant certification (e.g., ACAMS, ACFCS, CFE) preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations.
