Scope of the Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling, moving, loading and unloading materials by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment, including industrial trucks, forklifts, loaders, conveyors, and other equipment to transport/transfer materials to and from transportation vehicles.

Picking/Packing/Checking/Shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. Safely Transporting products with supporting documentation to our customers and ensuring accurate handling of all necessary paperwork, while adhering to all Federal and Provincial Highway Traffic Laws.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely handle, move, load, and unload materials, both manually and using various material handling equipment.
  • Measure and cut cables for customer orders with precision, adhering to our quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain an organized and clean wire area, ensuring proper wire storage and management, and assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Accurately pick, pack, check, and ship customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Supporting general housekeeping duties to keep the workspace clean and safe.
  • Follow internal processes to maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Ensure proper loading of vehicles for shipping.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Ontario Class G drivers license and clean drivers extract
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of a broad spectrum of electrical products and applications is not required but considered an asset
