HR Generalist (4-Month Contract)
Overview:
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Generalist for an estimated 4-month contract to support our Human Resources team during a Leave of Absence (LOA). The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives within the organization including new employee onboarding, orientation, and benefit programs.
Duties and Responsibilies:
- Support new employees by facilitating the onboarding process, ensure accurate completion of all employee paperwork in the Dayforce HRIS system;
- Communicate regularly with new hires to assist with questions and provide support;
- Maintain employee files and records;
- Assist with first day orientation process;
- Provide support to assist with the administration of all employee benefit programs pertaining to enrollments, life events and terminations;
- Processing of COBRA in accordance with applicable laws;
- Assist with special projects; and
- Provide additional support to HR Operations team.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Management, Human Resources or related field required;
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources;
- Demonstrates foundational knowledge of HR policies and practices; and
- Experience working with HRIS/HRMS systems.
