Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of project management, including defining, planning, and managing capital expenditures and technology transfers for new projects and materials.
  • Support the design, specification, installation, startup, troubleshooting, and enhancement of equipment and systems.
  • Drive innovation by developing new insights and engineering solutions to cut costs and enhance process capability and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the Environmental Health and Safety budget and lead programs related to waste management, wastewater and stormwater, forklift safety, industrial hygiene, and medical surveillance.
  • Conduct job hazard analyses to identify risks and handle incident reporting through the Incident Management System.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Over 7 years of practical experience in manufacturing engineering or supply chain operations.
  • At least 3 years of robust project management experience, overseeing projects from concept through implementation.
  • Knowledge of Capital Procurement is a plus.
  • Experience or certification in continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Proficient in SAP (Systems Applications and Products).
