The primary purpose of the Personal Care Specialist is to achieve sales of existing personal care residences at both the Lafayette and St. Joseph Manor campus and to actively participate in the sales strategies and tactics to achieve the occupancy objectives and all key metrics as defined in the Marketing and Sales Plan.Generates appropriate referrals/admissions from customers, meets occupancy goals and continues to grow referrals through community outreach and internal sales. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with all referral sources, including physicians, senior organizations, religious communities and hospital personnel, including but not limited to case managers, discharge planners and other appropriate referral sources.
Meets or exceeds all growth and development targets and actively establishes and maintains market awareness throughout the public community. Represents the organization and its services in a competent, professional, and responsive manner. Maintains a standard of high-quality customer service.Assertively works within the defined sales process and helps prospective residents and family members in the decision-making process. Understands the needs of prospective residents and their families and works to provide access to an appropriate solution to their wants/needs.
Within the defined sales process, conducts pre-qualification screens for financial and physical/cognitive appropriateness, ensures the accuracy and completion of required paperwork or directs the prospective resident to the appropriate financial/medical assessor and care level, and inspects personal care apartments in collaboration with maintenance and community staff for readiness.Provides a superior customer service experience to prospective residents, their families, and current community residents. Is knowledgeable of the state and organizational regulations that govern the Redeemer Health senior living communities.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

- College degree preferred, comparable sales experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years proven sales experience within the senior services industry.
- Strong customer service background and a passion for working with the elderly.
- Proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office. Experience with customer relationship database software a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team, willing to cross train and cross sell as needed.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a good listener with the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to perceive change as an opportunity for growth.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex healthcare needs to team members and consumers.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening appointments.
- Valid driver's license and access to automobile.
