Finance Analyst

The Finance and Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance Director with forecasting, analyzing, and reporting on project level financial data.

Job Duties:

• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately
• Act as liaison between the finance department and other departments throughout organization
• Develop tracking systems and create historical financial reports as needed
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
• Ensure contract compliance on all activities
• Prepare financial information and reports for internal and external clients
• Develop and prepare budgets, financial forecasts and tracking reports to assist management in meeting fiscal objectives and contractual financial requirements
• Reconcile financial activities, and identify and correct discrepancies and problems
• Identify and research financial trends and brief management on emerging budget issues, and assist department management in mitigating financial issues
• Serve as subject matter expert for financial practices and policies to ensure billing and financial integrity
• Prepare and track expenses submitted to corporate Accounts Payable, and prepare month and accruals as required
• Prepare backup documentation for monthly billings to client
• Monitor staff levels for forecasting purposes, closely working with Human Capital department to document terminations, new hires and transfer job titles
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management
