Staff Accountant - Accounts Recevables

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant - Accounts Receivables in Bristol, Tennessee. This role is pivotal in the finance industry, where you will be working at our office location.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Work closely with the sales team on credit applications and credit references
• Prepare data for upper management to approve credit limits and payment terms
• Handle accounts receivables process and maintain up-to-date customer credit records
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and other issues related to accounts receivable
• Prepare aging reports for management to aid in cash flow forecasting
• Perform light journal entries in the general ledger
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, preferably with a focus on Accounts Receivables
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is required
• Experience with General Ledger management is a must
• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain Journal Entries
• Familiarity with Credit Application procedures
• Proven ability to handle and interpret Aging Reports
• Experience in resolving Invoice Discrepancies
• Demonstrated skills in researching and resolving financial discrepancies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
