Production Operator - Plate Polymer
LOCATION: Concord, CA
SHIFT: 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday
PAY: $21/hour starting wage plus shift differential
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Photopolymer Plate Maker 1 is an entry-level role in the plate department. This position is responsible for the overall physical imaging process of Flexographic printing plates, quality, and maintenance program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Process plates per customer specs using information provided in ZOHO as well as ensuring all plates meet strict quality standards.
- Works with the production supervisor to maintain quality, efficiency, reduce waste and meet customer deadlines.
- Conduct comprehensive Quality Control on all imaged photopolymer and packaged plates for shipping.
- Continues progression of 5S and shows incremental improvements on monthly audits.
- Attends necessary meetings to aid production flow, quality development and completes continual learning training.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience in plate and/or production manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of Zoho CRM
