Position Summary
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect is a key leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across IES Holdings' various business units. This role will ensure alignment with organizational goals, foster collaboration between stakeholders, and deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Design and Architecture
- Develop and maintain an enterprise-level solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including Finance, Operations, and Sales modules.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and comply with industry best practices.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with third-party applications and internal systems.
- Project Leadership
- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and create detailed project plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Provide hands-on guidance during solution implementation and upgrades.
- Technical Expertise
- Define system configurations, customizations, and workflows for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging features in Dynamics 365 to enhance business processes.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and governance in all implementations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with executives and department leaders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on Dynamics 365 product updates, tools, and trends to recommend enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Specific Qualifications:
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules (Finance, Operations, Customer Engagement, etc.).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
- Excellent understanding of integration techniques (REST APIs, Data Entities, Power Platform).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in Dynamics 365 (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
