Cost Accountant - Robert Half

Responsibilities:

• Execute proper billing and ensure timely recording of necessary adjustments.
• Collect, analyze, and map data about the company's operational and job-specific costs to the general ledger.
• Assist in setting cost standards and cost allocations in order to maintain accurate project demographic and financial information.
• Maintain fixed asset records, equipment management, and perform daily accounting operations.
• Contribute significantly to the annual audit and tax filings.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and perform auditing to ensure budget processes are followed.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ yrs of cost accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
