Job Title: Vice President of National Sales
About You:
You are a go getter who knows how to build and manage a book of business. You have had a great success in a sales/business development role in the past. You have a positive attitude, confidence, and enthusiasm. You are self-motivated and enjoy fast-paced environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:

As Vice President of Sales for Facilities Services, you will have an exciting opportunity to exceed assigned pipeline and profit objectives and work closely with the CEO and Vice President of Marketing in developing and executing overall sales strategies throughout the country. You will also partner closely with executive leaders and Regional Directors in executing the sales processes and aligning with national operational goals. This role offers the unique opportunity to work for a family run business with Yo Y growth throughout its 35-year history. Successful sales leaders in this role will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive sales process leadership from contact through strategy, proposal, presentation, and successful conclusion for a defined market.
  • Aggressively research, identify, qualify & target potential clients and develop access strategies to initiate contact.
  • Develop & maintain relationships at the C-Suite level while understanding and communicating with prospective customers' regarding Interstate’s services and values.
  • Exercise creativity and independent judgment in developing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies in selling broad portfolio of services within defined market.
  • Identify needs and source customer specific solutions for those needs.
  • Utilize resources from across Interstate to design and deliver customer desired outcomes.
  • Influence and collaborate with multiple team members without formal authority to achieve expected sales objectives.
  • Develop relationships with intermediaries to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and awareness of capabilities.
  • Properly escalate issues that could impact local or national perceptions of Interstate as a preferred facility services provider.
  • Represent Interstate in the marketplace through various industry conferences and events.
  • Provide appropriate market and competitive information.

Requirements:Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 10 years of B2B solution-based selling experience in a commercial cleaning services industry across various settings including education, healthcare, and distribution.
  • Experience building a healthy book of business from the ground up.
  • Familiarity and agreement to manage sales pipeline within company CRM (SF.com).
  • Must demonstrate past success with closing meaningful business on a routine basis.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Experience in Consultative Selling; capable of understanding how to align and become a strategic solutions partner to fulfill client needs.
  • Successfully building alliances and influencing key decisions makers (at all levels).
  • Strategic sales planning and methodologies.
  • Researching and obtaining market awareness of industry and client.
  • Financial acumen in understanding operations, financial modeling, and proposal development.
  • Demonstrating competitive drive and determination, to navigate through red flags and deliver expected results.
  • Developing and executing sales processes through indirect/direct influence.
  • Demonstrating strong oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills.
  • Position requires flexibility to travel 75%, including overnight.
