Spring provides strategic consulting including actuarial and underwriting services to major employers, associations and insurance and financial services organizations throughout the world. Our consulting team has extensive industry experience in areas such as risk management, actuarial, health care, life insurance, disability and absence management, employee benefits and property & casualty consulting, retirement and pension services.

In addition, the firm provides strategic consultation directly to employers on the use of captive insurance facilities in the employee benefits and property & casualty area.

Responsibilities:

As an Absence Management Analyst, you will provide analysis and project management for disability, FMLA, PFML, and other leave programs.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, organizing discovery calls and assisting in proposal development.
  • Create templates and tools to enhance team efforts in disability, leave, and return-to-work programs.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and monitor activities; prepare meeting minutes and deliverables.
  • Support new business initiatives and proposal efforts.
  • Contribute to additional projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in employee benefits, with exposure to disability, FMLA, PFML, or related leaves
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven abilities in data analysis and technical writing
  • Familiarity with the field and a desire to learn more
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, taking ownership of tasks
  • Strong prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Confident, clear, and articulate communicator
  • High responsiveness and reliability
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Works well within a collaborative team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary range is $60,000 - 70,000 per year, based on experience.
