Road Logistics Coordinator
Adecco is now hiring for a Road Logistics Coordinator in Flower Mound Tx.
Pay rate: 20/hoursHours: Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm
The role involves managing and coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring the smooth operation of shipments, and handling customer communications. Here's a breakdown of the position:
Role Overview:
- Customer Interaction: You’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries via phone or email regarding shipments, products, and complaints.
- Order Management: You’ll input customer orders into the Transportation Management System (TMS) from phone/email orders and directly from EDI or E-Booking systems.
- Resource Allocation: Secure trucking resources with carrier partners and confirm bookings with shippers or consignees.
- Logistics Coordination: You’ll schedule and confirm pick-up or delivery appointments, track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, and communicate any deviations in transportation plans.
- File Maintenance: You’ll handle any necessary corrections to service requests, maintain records of transport statuses, and initiate any required file maintenance.
- Sales Support: This role may also involve soliciting sales of additional services to customers.
- Issue Resolution: You’ll manage customer complaints and handle challenging situations professionally.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Problem-solving: Ability to make decisions quickly, handle tough situations, and stay organized with multiple tasks.
- Communication: Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone/email.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all statuses and transport KPIs are captured accurately.
- Education: High school diploma or higher.
Key Skills:
- Customer Service: Handling inquiries and issues in a professional, courteous manner.
- Logistics & Scheduling: Managing the logistics of shipments and deliveries efficiently.
- Sales: Identifying opportunities for upselling services.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
