Job Summary
Quality Vehicle Validation Test Specialist:
Reporting to the Manager of Quality Test Fleet Operations, this role will align vehicle test case requests from engineering for execution during testing.
Responsibilities:
- Manages special testing requirements (SoPros) from vehicle owners.
- Conducts driver interviews in relation to SOPROS in order to understand in detail the complaints firsthand
- Inputs SOPRO complaints into ALPOS and distributes accordingly
- Ensures information provided by drivers is accurate and reproducible
- The role is responsible for tracking and documenting the vehicle destruction of vehicles at the testing station
- The position will also support with re testing, pre analysis, and general office work as needed.
- Follows up via daily “query” for feedback on reported topic. Each topic will receive additional tasks that need to be coordinated within the station structure by this position.
- Attends test drives in a supporting role as needed.
- Miscellaneous station activities such as:
- vehicle/driver shift planning as needed
- workshop task scheduling and coordination
- Support of General test station tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering or related, or, equivalent work experience.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic
- Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
- Computer savvy – skilled in use of software / Engineering tools
- Technically savvy
- Problem solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications:
- German Language
- Spanish Language
- Mechanical competencies
- Specific computer programs based on VW / Audi Systems (ODIS. IDEX, CP Tool, ALPOS)
- General understanding of vehicles, technology and systems
