Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will perform various duties including, but not limited to:
- Recommend and implement process improvements, problem resolutions, and employee training initiatives.
- Enhance manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality, and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare, present, and coordinate deployment plans, including team training.
- Monitor manufacturing equipment conditions and lead investigations into process abnormalities to determine root causes and implement countermeasures.
- Identify and address safety risks while supporting capacity analysis and ROI planning.
- Conduct time studies and assist with capital planning initiatives.
- Support the launch of new/revised products, including setting goals, training, and evaluating outcomes.
- Design, develop, test, and source tools, machinery, and equipment for improved manufacturing methods.
- Perform product/process analysis for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
- Assemble mechanical/electronic devices following engineering specifications and layouts.
- Demonstrate PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similiar field of study.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an approachable and tactful demeanor.
- Solid math and computer skills, including proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
