Garage Door Installer Trainer
The primary responsibility of the Garage Door Trainer will be to provide comprehensive training to new installers, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-the-job training for new garage door installers, covering installation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Mentor and coach new installers as they gain experience in the field, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
- Demonstrate proper use of hand tools and equipment used in garage door installation and service.
- Ensure that all installations are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with management to develop and update training materials and curriculum as needed.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while interacting with team members and customers.
**Note: this position will train a new team member every 4-weeks to the trainee’s graduation from Banko University. But may be required to assist in the field as support to current installers, and installing garage doors as needed.**
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a field trainer or equivalent managerial role in the garage door industry.
- Proficiency with hand tools and equipment commonly used in garage door installation.
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt training methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
