BMG’s digitally focused Marketing department is an award-winning global team who work at the forefront of artist campaigns, leading the charge with expert insight into social media, audience development, online advertising, CRM, global activations and innovation for marketing.They are interconnected with our advertising & technology teams as well as BMG’s campaign, sales and analytics teams. They work closely with artists and tech partners.
As a key member of BMG’s Los Angeles team, your primary mission is to play a crucial role in our digital marketing efforts—supporting campaigns, activations, and innovative strategies for our artists. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing US, and working closely with the department’s Digital Marketing Managers, you will be integral in shaping and executing high-impact digital campaigns.In your role as the department’s coordinator, you’ll be well-versed in the top-performing social platforms, staying up-to-date on emerging trends, and actively supporting the team in the setup, execution, and optimization of social and digital content for our artists.

With a strong understanding of social media and the digital space, you’ll help bring creative and data-driven ideas to life, working across various projects to help elevate BMG’s artist roster in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing.- Providing direct support for the LA team by managing day-to-day digital marketing administrative needs to best serve the department, i.e. updating artist channels, creating tracking links, monitoring fan chatter, gathering key insights.
- Devising social timelines, writing and proofing copy, and monitoring fan engagement.
- Collaborating with Creative team on content and providing feedback on copy, design and specs needed for each social platform (X, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok, Triller, Tumblr).
- Overseeing digital advertising campaigns with our internal ads team.
- Identifying social influencers and/or working with a third-party agency to develop a partnership strategy for our music and content.
- Researching the latest trends in social media and conducting weekly updates.
- Reporting key insights and engagement across artist socials.
- Forming strong relationships with platform partners and artist management.
- Contributing to the global digital marketing team with learnings, developments and experiences.
- Adhering and contributing to the overall US digital marketing strategy.
- Power User of Social Media: Demonstrates excellent social writing and native platform editing skills, bringing a creative approach to supporting the team
- Digital Trend Enthusiast: Possesses a strong understanding and passion for current digital trends, particularly in the hip-hop/R&B and rock/metal genres.
- Detail-oriented: Exhibits a keen understanding of the artist's voice and audience to best engage consumers.
- Music Promotion & Fan Connection: Passionate about promoting music and connecting fans with their favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) artists.
- Organized Multi-Tasker: Highly organized and naturally adept at multi-tasking, with a strong willingness to learn more about various areas of digital marketing.
- Proactive Team Player: Takes initiative and works well in a team environment.
It’s also a plus (not a must) if you have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.

$46,000 - $51,500 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
