Associate Financial Advisor - North York, ON

Seeking a self-motivated and disciplined Associate Financial Advisor to join our practice in a client servicing role as a full-time, in-office team member. As an Associate, you will support lead advisors by providing comprehensive financial planning and client servicing support.

Position Overview:

Support all financial planning activities, including in-depth analysis, financial plan creation, execution of strategic concepts, and ongoing maintenance and tracking
Explain product and services to clients directly and support all activities to further client relationships
Identify new business opportunities from existing families
Support all practice management activities including account reviews, executing trade orders, compliance adherence, documentation tracking and maintenance of account lists

What we’re looking for in you

Minimum 3 years' of industry experience
MFDA license in place
Life License Qualification Program completion (or willing to obtain)
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is a plus, or willingness to work towards CFP
Experience in role involving financial planning and using financial planning software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desire to work in a successful and dynamic practice where each team member may wear more than one hat
Critical thinker who can come up with unique ways to solve problems
Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
