Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu dishes and food items
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Estimate food requirements and costs
Monitor and order supplies along with maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Recruit, train and hire staff for preparation, cooking and handling of food
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and manage kitchen operations
Clean kitchen and work areas

Maintain food safety standards

Skills Requirement: Completion of secondary school is required

At least 1 year of commercial cooking experience required in food preparation or service industry

Bachelors Degree is an asset
