Our client in Robinson PA is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join the team
Duties:
- Lead the development of geometric roadway designs using MicroStation, ensuring contract documents adhere to state and local agency standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers involved in the project.
- Ensure that project deliverables are comprehensive, ready for review, completed on time, and remain within budget constraints.
- Collaborate in coordinating drainage design activities for highway projects.
- Conduct field investigations and site assessments to inform project planning and execution.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of specifications and permits.
- Contribute to the development of preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities.
- Play a key role in preparing specifications, permit submissions, and project cost estimates, ensuring compliance with PennDOT standards.
