We are seeking a Sales & Customer Care Consultant to join our Retail team in Mahwah, New Jersey. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers across various channels, including email, phone, live chat, and social media.

You will be tasked with delivering excellent customer service, resolving issues, and assisting customers with their inquiries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience consistently.
  • Handle customer issues and complaints across multiple channels efficiently.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Assist customers with a wide range of inquiries including product queries, returns, delivery, registration, and payments.
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues across different departments to improve service and knowledge.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and maintaining customer records.
  • Schedule appointments and manage customer accounts effectively.
  • Take initiative in achieving quality and productivity targets.
  • Use your skills in answering inbound and outbound calls to resolve customer issues.
  • Respond to customer emails and maintain professional correspondence. • Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries.
  • Proven experience in a call center customer service environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Skilled in email correspondence, with the ability to respond professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to perform order entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Able to schedule appointments effectively, managing a busy calendar.
  • Past experience in a retail environment, particularly in a sales or customer care role, would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and provide solutions to customer issues.
