Job Description
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of commercial and industrial construction sites, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
  • Oversee and direct subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and the broader team to monitor progress, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the worksite is safe for all personnel at all times.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring work meets the design specifications, building codes, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring all necessary resources are available and on-site as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of project progress, issues, delays, and changes in scope, providing clear documentation for reporting and decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders, ensuring all project updates, concerns, and modifications are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality.
  • Perform final inspections before project completion to ensure all work aligns with client expectations and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant
  • At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent in both commercial and industrial construction, with proven experience managing large, complex projects.
  • Deep knowledge of industrial construction processes, commercial building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate various subcontractors and on-site personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to address issues proactively and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training (preferred).
