High School Teacher (24-25 February Break Academy)
Veritas is looking for strong teachers to facilitate and deliver a week-long academic experience for students to aid in the process of credit recovery.
The teacher would support students to complete a credit recovery program, monitor student progress, and report outcomes to school leaders and general education teachers. The goal of the week is for students to make-up about 25 hours (50% of the requirement) towards attaining credits for ELA and Math.
Teacher responsibilities include:
- Track daily attendance and strive for 90% or higher attendance each day for your cohort of students. Communicate with families daily for students who are absent.
- Monitor student progress on credit recovery program
- Teach the required number of hours from 8am-12:30pm daily.
- Lead students in operational parts of the day including arrival, breakfast, lunch, and dismissal.

This opportunity is open only to current Veritas Prep teachers.

Stipend Amount:
- $1,000 for completion of the entire week of classes.
