Job Description
  • Plan, execute, and manage audits within the capital markets space and regulatory validation space
  • Oversee audit team members and ensure quality of work
  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk
  • Implement best audit and business practices
  • Manage resources and audit assignments
  • Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for the company
  • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Audit Manager of Capital Markets' should have:

  • 7+ years of internal audit experience in the banking or broker dealer space
  • Experience in audit validation work deal with MRA/MRIAs
  • Strong knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting
  • Excellent understanding of the financial services industry and capital markets
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in using various software for data analysis and reporting
