What You''ll Do:
- Lead manufacturing operations data systems across global supply chain. Provide technical consulting support to Manufacturing Operations and project engineers, as required. Oversight of installation and integration of manufacturing systems specifically for wet and powder processing, utilities, powder filling, and secondary packaging:
- PLC programming in Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix platforms
- HMI/SCADA programming in Ignition, FactoryTalk View SE/ME
- Temperature / pressure / level / conductivity / PH / vibration instrumentation, sensors, and other field I/O devices
- Manufacturing networks and electrical MCCs and PDUs
- Lead electrical control and instrumentation system design for large-scale projects including, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Develop and manage automation and controls scope based on user requirements.
- Preparing cost estimates, bid packages, and outlining equipment specifications, Designing or managing the design of industrial control systems,
- Managing construction of electrical control systems on equipment or manufacturing systems,
- Manage multiple vendors during deployment of a large-scale project, spanning multiple process cells,
- Develop validation/commissioning strategy for integrated equipment and systems and
- Managing the installation, validation, and start-up of industrial control systems. Coordinate with internal and external resources to drive innovative technology Proof of Concepts and drive Industry 4.0 transformation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline, or equivalent technical experience plus demonstrated competence.
- 5+ years of applicable engineering experience
- Experience in FDA regulated manufacturing, consumer packaged goods or similar experience required.
- Experience with validation or commissioning documentation required
- Experience with powder processing, filling and inspection technologies strongly preferred
- Experience with vision and inspection systems or similar technology preferred
- Experience with large capital project delivery and leading a cross-functional project team preferred.
The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
