Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life of HR Coordinator
As an HR Coordinator for Liberty Military Housing, you will assist with a wide variety of tasks related to onboarding, hiring processes and other Human Resource administrative duties. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions for new hires, helping streamline HR processes, and contributing to special HR projects.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding and Hiring Support:
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, help coordinate and track background checks, drug tests, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Ensure all new hire documentation is collected, accurately processed, and data is entered into the payroll system.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless experience for both new hires and the team.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource electronic files and records; provide support for HR reporting and file requests as needed.
- Ensure E-Verify process is completed for all new hires.
- Monitor the onboarding schedule to ensure all new hires and recently promoted employees are scheduled for training.
- Job Description Review and Revision:
- Review and revise current job descriptions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company goals.
- Assist in drafting new job descriptions for open positions, working closely with managers to capture role-specific requirements.
- Project Support:
- Pull and organize information for HR projects and reports.
- Assist with HR-related audits and compliance tasks.
- Provide administrative support to HR leadership for ongoing projects.
- Miscellaneous HR Duties:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
- Handle general HR inquiries and provide timely responses to employees.
- Assist with employee recognition initiatives and special events as needed.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Generate and distribute monthly new hire report
Qualifications:
What You Need for Success:
- Previous experience in HR, payroll, or administrative roles (preferred)
- Knowledge of HR processes and payroll systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Office Suite, (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range $24.00 - 29.00 hour plus bonus
