A Project Scheduler is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH (hybrid) area. This role involves serving as the Technical SME for project scheduling, providing guidance, training, and expertise in schedule development, analysis, and management to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant execution of complex project scopes while supporting stakeholders and maintaining scheduling systems.

responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Technical SME for project scheduling within the department.
  • Support and guide the development and analysis of project schedule deliverables.
  • Train schedulers and planners to plan, schedule, integrate, baseline, and analyze scopes of work.
  • Administer security, reporting, maintenance, and daily operation of scheduling systems and software.
  • Develop and implement scope of work schedule/status reports for senior management.
  • Interface with site execution teams, contractors, and senior management.
  • Define activities, durations, work sequences, and relationship logic for work plans.
  • Develop milestones to represent key decisions and deliverables.
  • Ensure scope and deliverables meet customer and internal standards.
  • Guide schedulers in developing fully integrated schedules with resource loading and leveling.

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in scheduling tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and complex spreadsheets.

  • Provide effective project delivery strategies and handle hazardous site conditions when applicable.

Experience: Must have a minimum of 6+ years of Primavera (P6) experience and using P6 currently.
