Salary: $100-130k base + Bonus

About the Company: This San Francisco-based firm caters to seasoned entrepreneurs, helping to manage their wealth and strategize for their upcoming ventures. A growing wealth management entity, it has strong ties in the renowned tech-entrepreneurial region and operates both venture capital funds and a newly established hedge fund.

• Assist the Controller with various accounting-related tasks including reviewing the work of fund administrators, maintaining general ledgers, managing bill payments, and preparing financial reports.
• Collaborate with the VP of Operations to manage client relationships across platforms, implement customized onboarding experiences for high-net-worth clients, and address client inquiries.
• Support operational projects, streamline processes for efficiency, manage multiple tasks ensuring accuracy and quality, and monitor bank accounts for optimal liquidity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least three years of accounting experience in financial services (e.g., Wealth Management, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital).
• Understanding of fund accounting and operations, including capital calls, distributions, and subscription documents.
• Experience with Addepar, Fidelity, or similar accounting software and custodial platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service to high-net-worth clientele.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and operate independently.
