Job Description Summary:

The Office Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an office and its various departments. Their duties include communicating with department heads, relaying important information or policy changes from upper management and implementing incentives to enhance employee productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and announce clients, applicants and visitors.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required
  • Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures
  • Answer and route all incoming calls.
  • General office support (supplies, vendor communication, mail, etc).
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Timely and accurate filing, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation, distribution, and collection of performance reviews.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate record retention and destruction policies.
  • All other duties as needed to support the Human Resources Department.

Qualifications:

Education and/ or Work Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college courses a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency a plus.
  • Microsoft Word proficiency a plus.
  • Microsoft Outlook proficiency a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus.
