This is a prime opportunity to join an amazing team and be part of one of the most important aspects of the winter, getting everyone up the mountain so we can enjoy the slopes. We are looking for both full-time and part-time lift operators for the winter season with prime opportunities to transfer to summer positions for year-round employment!

Responsibilities:

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
  • Start, stop, and adjust the speed of lifts via lift controls.
  • Assist skiers on and off the lift and instruct them in safety procedures.
  • Observe skiers loading/unloading lifts to ensure they are safely seated, and safety bars are secure where applicable.
  • Always keep corral and terminal areas clean and orderly while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • Perform snow maintenance on ramps, terminal area, corral, and other areas as needed.
  • Assist in daily lift inspection.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of The Highlands at Harbor Springs to function as an information source for guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, welcoming, and giving guests a great experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to work outside on your feet in winter conditions
  • Single Bed, no pets. If interested, inquire during job interview
