Shift: 32-40 hours per week, scheduled day shifts (8-hour shifts)

Job Overview:

• This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a long-term care. The SLP will focus on developing treatment plans to improve patients' swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, as well as decreasing aspirations. The role involves leading speech-language pathology services in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations to ensure appropriate care and service delivery to residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities.
• Lead and guide the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Help patients improve their ability to communicate and understand others, addressing speech and language challenges.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, procedures, and guidelines for long-term care facilities.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings.

Licensure & Certifications:

• MO State License.
• CCC certification.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
