.NET Developer
The primary focus of this assignment will be working with DIT and MDOT to re-architect the Local Agencies Payment Management System (LAPMS) and the Design Plan Evaluation (DPE) PowerBuilder/Enterprise Application (EA) systems to the Microsoft .NET/C# architecture.
B. Background on the work requested
The DIT and MDOT requires the services of a senior programmer-analyst and programmer analyst to assist the Operations Systems Section (OSS) with the TEAM project. The applications involved with this ITB are critical to the MDOT Design Division and are becoming increasingly unstable as changes to the configuration occur.Re-architecting these applications to a contemporary and maintainable architecture is a high priority for the MDOT. Additionally, maintenance and operational support of the department’s .NET systems will be required on an on-going basis.
C. Objectives
Listed below are specific projects expected to be accomplished within this contract. Amendments may be made as needs change throughout the realm of the contract:
- Re-architect LAPMS and DPE to the Microsoft.NET architecture
- Mentor OSS personnel in the construction and maintenance of the re-architected systems
- Provide on-going maintenance and operations support for .NET applications as directed by the OSS Manager

The scope of work associated with this project follows the DIT SUITE and OSS Maintenance and Operations Methodologies. This covers the entire software life cycle to include initiation, requirements, analysis, design, construction, test, implementation, and closeout.This project will not include governance or management.

The Contractor must submit written bi-weekly summaries or progress reports that outline work accomplished during the reporting period, work to be accomplished during the subsequent reporting period, if known; problems, real or anticipated, which should be brought to the attention of the MDIT Project Manager and notification of any significant deviation from the previously agreed upon work plans.All areas of decision making that pertain to this contract must be reviewed in detail with the MDIT Project Manager and Bureau Automation Manager (BAM) prior to any final decision.

Work is to be performed in the Van Wagoner Building, Lansing, MI 48909. Meetings/work may take place at other Lansing and Detroit Metro area office locations.I. Hours
