Provide insight and technology recommendations that result in enterprise solutions that solve critical business problems. Design, deliver, and document multi-platform architecture with a focus on architectural standards, growth, performance, flexibility, reliability, scalability, and security.
Identify architectural risks and plans to mitigate. Lead innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking, and implementing data centric technologies for the platform. Be the technical architect and point person for data platforms.
Will architect reliable and scalable data platforms, provide standard interfaces to query and support analytics for our finance data sets that is transparent, efficient and easy to access as possible by our varied applications. Work on complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.Support product owner in defining future stories and tech lead in defining technical designs.Participate in design conversations and develop the business logic and backend systems of the MVP experience.

Competencies - Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesCandidate with experience in a Data Architect role who has attained a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
Design processes supporting data transformation, data structure, metadata, dependency, and workload management.Successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected structured and unstructured datasets.Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services EC2, Elastic MapReduce) and considerations for scalable, distributed systemsAdvanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.Experience designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, architecture, and data sets.Strong project management and organization skills.Experience supporting and working with agile cross functional teams in a dynamic environmentBackground in financial services functions strongly desirable.
