The role primarily involves managing the customer service operations within the manufacturing industry, ensuring efficient production schedules and maintaining robust supplier relationships.

• Engage in negotiations with suppliers for the procurement of raw materials, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
• Oversee the production schedule to guarantee prompt delivery of products.
• Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers to guarantee a reliable supply chain.
• Collaborate with other departments to anticipate needs and modify orders as required.
• Supervise inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels and avoid overproduction.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential areas for cost savings.
• Manage the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and other relevant documents.
• Resolve issues related to purchase orders or supply contracts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support the customer service team in addressing issues related to order fulfillment.
• Use ERP solutions and Microsoft Excel to manage buying processes and maintain customer service within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in ERP
• Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience as a buyer and familiarity with buying processes
• Familiarity with component selection
• Excellent customer service skills
