Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry, located in San Jose, California. The chosen candidate will be a key player in our team, engaged in handling accounting functions with a focus on accounts payable.

• Accurately process customer credit applications as part of the Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions in response to account status
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient work processes
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure all financial transactions are error-free
• Handle Account Coding tasks and ensure all coding is accurate and up-to-date
• Leverage ADP - Financial Services and Concur for efficient financial operations
• Manage Accrual Accounting tasks and ensure all accruals are accurately recorded
• Oversee Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to ensure smooth financial operations
• Utilize Oracle Fusion for advanced financial management and reporting • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Coding
• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficient in using Concur for expense management
• Understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to handle diverse Accounting Functions
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting
• Solid experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion software
