Senior IT Project Manager - Charlotte
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline. Responsibilities include project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, and overseeing project documentation.The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of IT project management experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in project management methodologies. PMP certification is preferred. This is primarily an in-office role with minimal physical demands.

- Lead and manage medium to large-scale IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
- Oversee project documentation, testing, and change management processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts.
- Ensure clear communication across project teams and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and potential oversight to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of IT project management experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and business analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage risks, stakeholders, and high-stress scenarios.
- Experience with WorkDay ERP implementation is a plus.
