Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager to become part of our team in the construction, situated in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be entrusted with the execution and control of all administrative and accounting functions, working collaboratively with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Regularly analyze revenues and expenses to guarantee they are recorded appropriately.
• Prepare and enter journal entries, including approved reclassifications of expenses, correcting entries, and expenditure allocations.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule.
• Conduct regular audits to confirm the validity of transactions.
• Participate in the preparation and entry of the annual budget to maintain cost control.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist in the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Enhance your proficiency in the accounting software used by the company.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all company records and documents.
• Take part in special projects as assigned by management.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Excellent understanding and ability to carry out Accounting Functions is required.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Must have construction related experience.
• Familiarity with Job Cost is crucial.
• Knowledge and experience with Viewpoint Vista is highly desirable.
• Experience in Fleet Management is a significant advantage.
