Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Power design for motor drive applications
- Support the design of brushless DC motor drivers for electromechanical systems.
- Support FPGA and microprocessor-based designs for implementation of control system algorithms.
- Support analog and digital design to control brushless servomotors and stepper motors.
- Support proposal efforts and create the technical volume to the customer’s requirements.
- Implement and simulate new designs, including schematic design and full simulation
- Understand and analyze project requirements and business expectations
- Create test plans and perform integration and test at board and box level.
- Create presentation material for design reviews and customer technical reviews
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years experience.
- Military or space electrical design experience
- Analog and digital design core skill set
- Electrical design analyses: worst case, FMECA, and parts stress analysis
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Ansys Tools, Software languages, Altium, PSPICE
- PWB Design experience
- Able to collaborate with team members to work to develop a technical solution to meet customer requirements
- Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $107,604 - $134,506 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
