Legal Assistant

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in McKinney, Texas. As a Legal Assistant, you will be primarily engaged in providing administrative support within a family law practice. This role is critical in managing legal calendars, handling filings, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.

• Provide administrative assistance in a family law setting
• Manage and maintain legal calendars efficiently
• Handle filing systems and ensure all documents are properly organized
• Conduct billing functions as required
• Manage claim administration effectively
• Foster effective communication within the team and with clients. • Proficiency in managing Billing Functions, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
• Strong skills in Calendar Management to schedule appointments, meetings, and deadlines
• Experience in Claim Administration, understanding the procedures and documentation involved
• Outstanding Communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and legal professionals effectively
• Familiarity with Family Law, including divorce, child custody, and domestic abuse issues
