Staff Accountant

We are inviting applications for the role of Staff Accountant in the Hi Tech Engineering industry. This role is located in PLEASANTON, California, 94588-2705, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing our financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the processing of financial transactions and ensure they are accurately recorded in our systems.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of our company's financial performance.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports on financial performance for internal use.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and implement improvements to the existing financial systems and processes.
• Assist in the implementation of ERP system enhancements and train staff on their use.
• Research and provide insights on GAAP accounting treatment for new processes.
• Assist in preparing information required for year-end financial audits and corporate tax returns.
• Participate in special projects as requested. • Applicant must possess at least 1 year of experience in the field of Accounting.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is crucial.
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is necessary.
• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries is required.
• Experience in handling Month End Close procedures is needed.
• Proficiency in using accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is required.
• The ability to generate Financial Reporting is a key requirement.
• The applicant must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with Hi Tech Engineering industry is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
