Description:
Markon is seeking Project Managers to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. This individual will assist the government with project management, requirements development, stakeholder engagement, and status reporting for the Facilities Project Management enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Review designs submitted for changes to Government facilities
- Manage project designs and/or construction efforts
- Manage and evaluate contractor performance
- Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications and building codes
- Provide official weekly project status reports
- Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams and stakeholders
- Assist the Contracting Officer and COTR with acquisition planning, execution, and administration
- Collect requirements, prepare scopes of work, conduct market research, and develop sole source justification if appropriate
- Conduct technical review and evaluate project solicitations, proposals, quotes, and proposed change requests
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
- Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits
- Assist in the preparation of Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout
- Conduct/Approve punch-list items prior to property turnover
- Maintain, Track, and Update Contract Change Requests (CCRs)
- Host Utility Assistance Request (UAR) meetings between stakeholders and the general contractors to accommodate building outages
- Create, distribute, and maintain all transmittal documents
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience managing complex projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project
- Proficiency with developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, and monitoring/reporting project status
- Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement
- Competent in reading and understanding construction drawings/specifications and knowledgeable in standard construction industry practices
Desired:
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification
Salary Range: USD $110,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
